Based on the experiences the majority of us have had, NO ONE doctor is deserving

of our full trust until proven trustworthy. Walk into a docs office with your

own labs (ask for them...they're yours) and what you already know about low T.

Demand timely treatment. It's about you, not them.

If they don't agree...Quickly FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR who does.

Like I said in another post, I've seen twelve doctors in the past fourteen

months. It's not hard to tell if a doctor's not going to be helpful. I only

saw two of these doctors more than once. The others just kind of gave me a

blank stare when I asked them about hormones. Most of them I went to on a

referal from a pharmacist or another doctor. I can't believe how many times I

would talk to the doctor's nurse when making an apointment I would ask if the

doctor worked with male hormones, the nurse would say " oh sure the doctor works

with hormones all the time " then when I got in to see the doctor he would tell

me that he doesn't work with hormones. I don't know why doctors don't know more

about male hormone issues. If any of them would do as much research as most of

us have done, they would be a lot more helpful. It seems as though you stand a

better chance of finding a doctor to do an organ transplant, than finding one

who is competent to handle male hormones.

Even the very best doctors have weird ideas. However, I've found that

doctors that do have " weird " ideas often are the most flexible by far

and willing work with your requirements. My D.O. doesn't treat any

other patients for low testosteone to my knowledge, but he works with me

both with Testosteorne and HCG. He mixes traditional and alternative.

I may be changed to a different D.O. that my insurance will pay for, and

I've already talked to him once about testosterone and HCG and he was

willing to meet my requirements for weekly injections, total

testosterone level goals, and HCG therapy even though his initial

understanding of testosterone was shots one every two weeks and he knew

nothing about HCG.
