NOrmally there shouldbe no bilibrum in the urine. If there is any present

the strip reads the relative ammount as +, ++, or +++ . The only cause I

know of for a positive reading is a stuck stone. Since stuck stones can be

silent and go unnoticed if they make it into the duct. It is a good idea to

know its stuck.

Mine was stuck for 2 months with no pain, I just ignored the dark urine.

Eventually it was discovered in a routine urine test, just before I was about

to contract pancreatitus.

I was lucky. A stuck stone can go undetected for months, this is just a way

to know if it stuck before you get real sick.

Mr Dr. recommended the strips. They are about 70 bucks for 100 strips. But

if you use one very 3 days it will last almost a year. It could save you a

lot of pain and unexpected hospital visits. It's worth it to me.

What exactly is the test strip used for? Would it be wise to do a flush if a

stone is already stuck? If your biliruben is really high then its possible

that you are having something serious going on, and it probably wouldnt be a

good idea to eat anything, especially not drink a large amount of oil. Just

a thought. Any other opinions??
