In addition to maxing out on radiation treatment, I've had several

sets of diagnostic and positioning CTs in the US plus CTs in Mexico

and China, and I've had two PET-CTs. There comes a point when you

have to say, " No more CTs " lest the real cause of death will be a de

novo iatrogenic cancer, impaired immune function, or inability for

the body to repair. I have seen many deaths caused by chemo and

radiation sequellae. I don't always advise against chemo or

radiation. I only say you should be very mindful of the business

interests and indoctrinations of all involved parties.

HMOs are a big mistake. For the health insurer to directly provide

the treatment and for the physicians to participate in profits means

that the physicians and administration collude to deprive the patient

of anything that would affect their profiteering. There is a madcap

race to deliver the profit-depleting patient to the HMO's hospice

where the staff is extremely generous with the narcotics and

devilishly stingy with hydration.

I saw a case this past week where the patient (in his sixties) was

semi-comatose from some sort of undiagnosed cerebro-vascular

activity. Proper diagnosis and probable long term aftercare would be

very expensive. A nurse mentioned casually to the family that he had

two days left to live. He died in two days. The only person(s) who

accurately knows when you will die is/are your executioner(s). I

think I'll include a short talk on the subject in the seminars.

When my oncologist told me that I was refusing the CT against medical

advice I couldn't help but burst out laughing at his amateurish

attempt at being an HMO lawyer. I told him that it was not in my

interest to make this adversarial. He reluctantly agreed to the MRI.

you are a work of art! Given your courage, your science, your humor,

your audacity, stamina and sheer grit... yours was a tour de force. It is such

a privilege to learn from you, sir.
