Guest guest
Wellcome to this forum. I am searching for a doctor that will help me with my low T symptoms. I'm 49 with a T level of 388 (it's said that that is the level of an 85 year old man). I've got tendonitis in several joints. Tendonitis while not a big problem for a healthy man, it is not healing for me. I feel like my joints are slowly letting loose. My advice to you is, pursue the HRT and don't take no for an answer. Take a look in the physicians database for a doc that may be near you. I know for me, I have to educate myself on how to speak and convey my situation to the doctor. Most doctors are very apprehensive when it comes to HRT. The trick is to find the good one. Take care. > > I'm 34 years old and I just found out I have low testosterone. The reason I found out was because I've been battling an injury that has been going on for over 10 years. I've had lots of treatment for it, but my body has never really responded to the treatment and my physical condition continues to get worse. A new doctor I'm seeing tested my testosterone and found it to be pretty low. He's suggesting that this may be the reason why I haven't healed, because one major part of testosterone is its ability to help heal the body. My libido is fine (that god!), but I am prone to anxiety, some depression, lack of motivation, and just feeling all around crappy. I'm just wondering if there are others out there who have experienced similar things as I have. Specifically, I wonder if others have had a hard time recovering from injuries because of a lack of testosterone? And if you have, have you noticed any change in that once you've started hormone therapy? Thanks to any who respond. >
Guest guest
Welcome. Find a doc who will treat you fast and don't take no for an answer I've heard that osteoporosis (brittle bones) is one of the symptoms for Low-T, but I'm no expert. > > I'm 34 years old and I just found out I have low testosterone. If the injury involves bone or bone density it makes a lot of sense.
