Guest guest
I'm 34 years old and I just found out I have low testosterone. The reason I found out was because I've been battling an injury that has been going on for over 10 years. I've had lots of treatment for it, but my body has never really responded to the treatment and my physical condition continues to get worse. A new doctor I'm seeing tested my testosterone and found it to be pretty low. He's suggesting that this may be the reason why I haven't healed, because one major part of testosterone is its ability to help heal the body. My libido is fine (that god!), but I am prone to anxiety, some depression, lack of motivation, and just feeling all around crappy. I'm just wondering if there are others out there who have experienced similar things as I have. Specifically, I wonder if others have had a hard time recovering from injuries because of a lack of testosterone? And if you have, have you noticed any change in that once you've started hormone therapy? Thanks to any who respond.
