Guest guest
Had an interesting day today. I had to go for an ultrasound at my ob/gyn's office for condition unrelated to the gallbladder. While I was there, I ask the radiologist if we could take an " unofficial " look at my gallbladder, and she was okay with it, but said couldn't document anything, etc. When we looked, there were quite a few stones, etc. present. She looked about a bit, and pointed at them describing to me how some were clumps of small stones, not a single large one, etc., etc. I meekly told her I was curious to know about the size of them as I do flushes. She got quite excited and said " Oh I know all about them, I help people with alternative medicine. " She told me that I should do the flush 3 nights in a row...not just do once every couple weeks (of course all " unofficial " advise :-) But we had quite a nice talk, and that was quite a surprise to me. I was a bit disappointed to see there were as many stones after all I had passed in my February and March flushes, but have been feeling them, and guess I should consider giving her suggestion a try. When I described the size of some of the things I've passed, she didn't seem to think any looked as large or larger than that. So I thought that was pretty neat...my hubby would really love for me to have it removed, and I am BIG into alternatives, but sometimes it truly is tempting...I have never had the severe pain some describe, but plenty of vague discomfort under ribs and in right back when I indulge...like I did last night on some delicious cheese cake :-) I have things to do for the next few weeks, but and thinking of giving the flushes another go in June.
