Guest guest
Chemo Therapy from what I have read only has a 3% cure rate. In my case it was not worth the damage done to my body. Just my two cents, Al Spokane WA From: millardfillmore51 Sad situation.. when does the parent have the right to do what they feel best for their child. From what I understand Hodgkin's lymphoma has a 90% five year cure rate 40% lifetime cure rate.. Guest guest
--- With lymphoma I understand its much higher, but agree chemo with the majority of cancers is very low around 3% Remember they use the misleading five year cure rule.. Only two more years to go and I am cured!!! I can't wait.. all the best, Mike >
Guest guest
Cure rates differ widely in regards to chemo. The 3% figure is, I believe, across all cancers. I believe that leukemia and testicular cancer respond well to chemo, and the rest generally do not. However, I might be wrong about the leukemia -- it might be lymphoma. Not sure on this one. > > Chemo Therapy from what I have read only has a 3% cure rate.
