Guest guest
I have lost 5-7 lbs. since flushing in late January and early march...no trying to lose weight, not sure what to attribute it to. I don't seem to have the blood sugar lows that I did... Hi, , I just turned 50 on March 20th. Aren't you close to my age? If you're not, then I apologize. I think sometimes that my blood sugar gets low. I'm hoping doing my renewed bout of cleanses will help!!! Susie

I don't seem to have the blood sugar lows that I did...can go longer times without eating without feeling it, maybe that's it. Not sure how to explain the physiology behind that, but will say that the same thing happened 5 years ago when I was flushing more regularly, would lose about 5 lbs. I wasn't fasting, either, I don't change my eating patterns when I do the flush. L. Like cutting out sugars and eating more nuts, grains, whole foods? Eating a little something every couple hours? For fruit I liked Granny Apples, they are less sweet, and Tupelo Honey is good, it is a fructose honey so goes into the system more slowly. Also DeBoles Artichoke Pasta, it doesn't have as much starch to turn into sugar into your system. And when I do have a carbohydrate or fruit, always have some kind of protein with it so it doesn't spike the sugar then drop it. Just a few things I've learned along the way :-) L. Guest guest
Dr. Cabot's book advises ALL 1500+ patients she's had in the past 2 years (while writing her book) who followed her liver cleansing diet protocol/program have lost weight. She attributes weight problems with liver toxicity. From: " Sarrasin Dubill " <redwing14075@...> > Has anyone experienced weight loss after doing liver flushes? Also > DeBoles Artichoke Pasta, , I just started my veggie juicing yesterday again. I actually felt better yesterday. But I probably need something every few hours. I don't eat white sugar stuff at all. Only occasionally if it's someone's b-day or something and there is some kind of cake besides chocolate, which chocolate gives me attacks. So if I do have sugar, it's rarely. I am overweight, though. I've been trying to lose weight for some time now. Maybe these cleanses will help. My grandmother was diabetic. I've always wondered if that could happen to me. Susie
Guest guest
Is their a link between having no gb and wieght gain. I know the dr said that people that have gallstones are usually over weight, but i wasnt when I had the gb. Dr. Cabot talks about this in one of her books. I think the book entitled " The Liver Cleansing Diet. " There is a higher rate of fatty livers in people with no GBs. She states on pg. 21, " I have found that many patients gain weight after removal of the gallbladder because their liver function remains suboptimal. It may be her other book, " The Healthy Liver & Bowel Book " that talks about it more. I'm not sure. But you need to eat liver-friendly foods to help avoid fatty liver. Guest guest
Hi , I don't know if it is connected or not , but I have gained a lot of weight since getting my gall bladder out. But I'm sure that it may be more related to stress in my life. I have gained about 30 extra pounds as well. Is there a chance that it has just given you the freedom to eat foods that you haven't been able to eat for a while? I know if I could, I'd be eating a lot more than I am now :-) L. Guest guest
How do you know if you have a fatty liver? Is there a medical test that can be done to determine? Well, anybody that's been eating saturated and damaged fats, refined sugars, etc, usually have a fatty liver. That can be most of the US. I grew up eating fried foods, but I think it's worse for people now because there's more fast-food places than when I was young. Also, are you overweight? That's a good sign. Your liver is supposed to be a fat burner, but it can become a fat storer. Dr. Cabot may have some info on her website. Susie

Guest guest
My whole life I ate whatever I wanted with no problem with weight, I only had gb problems for about 10 months or so. so only during that time was I on the NO fat diet. Now I eat less fat than I did before because I get these stomach aches if I do. I have also been a little more health concious than before. >From: " L. Guest guest
Hi Susie Do you perhaps know who I can contact regarding Liver Flush. I want to find out if there is a liver flush recipe without the olive or any other oil for that matter one can take. How many methods are there?
