Guest guest
Dam your labs are better then mine your going to feel so much better just getting your Estradiol down if your Dr. will not give you Arimidex get it your self the LiquiDex from this link and the guys her have other sorces. I don't think Indolplex/DIM will get this down. As for your blood I got this high from time to time my Dr. says it's above normal not but enough to give blood. He told me to take a baby asprin every 12 hrs. http://www.ag-guys.com/store/product.php?productid=16135 & cat=248 It comes in 1mg/ ml get a small needle and draw out .5 mgs = .5mgs and take this by mouth every other day. The estradiol level blew my mind. Per Phil's advice I've been taking Indoplex DIM every day for the past month and a half. I've cranked it up to 1.5 tablets again per Phil's advice. I was really surprised to see it so high. I think the testosterone readings were pretty good considering that it was right before my shot. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I will of course bring up the estradiol levels with her and make her decide on Arimidex. I know my insurance company will not approve it, so if she does go for it, I'm going to have to pay for it out of pocket. Look in the files section. I posted a bunch of study abstracts on how harmful high E2 is for men. Print them and bring them to your Doc. Some of us have been able to get our insurers to cover it. Guest guest
Hi uu1845, Without seeing all of the reference ranges for each test, here are a few things that stood out to me. Your Testosterone is still low - you should aim for 500+ (usually the top third of the reference range) Your Bioavailable Testosterone is quite low - my doctor says it should be 300+ I am not sure about the Urea Nitrogen, but on one of my previous tests, the reference range was 5-24, so 25.7 might be a little high depending on the reference range for your test. Your estradiols are too high and should be closer to 20. Higher levels of estradiols can cause anxiety and depression issues in some guys. Guest guest
Ok forgive me I don't remember how you take your Testosterone meds are you on Gels that need to be used everyday or on shots. If your on Gels you need to use them every day your levels at 300 are very low. To do labs on gels you get up take a shower go do your labs first then put on the gels. If you can't do this shower put on the gel keeping it off the area they stick you to take your blood test and do this about 6 hrs after you put on the gel. If you don't do it this way your test levels will be spiked up very high. If you on shots you need to do your labs the morning of your next shot but before it. I don't like Endo's for low T find a better Dr. a DO Dr. in the files section from the homen page is a Database section full of the names and numbers of Dr.'s men here see. If you can't find on in the list read the file " Finding A New Male Hormone Dr. " then try calling compounding Pharmacy's and ask for the Dr.'s name and number that buy Testosterone meds from them that are in your area. http://www.collegepharmacy.com/menshealth/andropause.asp ANEWrx 523 Parkway View Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15205 877-788-8908 (ph) 877-788-8948 (fax) Monday - Friday (9am - 6pm) Saturday 10am - 2pm www.ANEWrx.com Dr.'s that use this type of Pharmacy are up on treating men for low Testosteone. As for your Estraidol levels men can have very low levels of Testosterone and very high Estradiol it's the high Estradiol that can give them low testosteone read these links. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 http://www.medibolics.com/ArimidexBoostsTestosterone.htm In this link you will see men need to keep there Testosterone levels up into the upper 1/3 of there labs range and to keep there Estradiol levels down to about 20 pg/ml. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html If you try arimidex let me know I can tell you the best way to take it. Guest guest
Happy Sunday to all. Thank you Mr. Phil for your info. I have another question. Instead of ordering a DIM below with Indolplex, could I buy one of these from Vitamin Shoppe (it's local in my area)? http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/search/en/query.jsp?x=0 & y=0 & q=DIM & intsource2=main & t\ ab_selection=vitamins ~Be healthy and at peace ________________________________ From: philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> Sent: Mon, November 29, 2010 5:55:02 PM Subject: Re: Re: Latest blood work Not a problem just get some Indolplex/DIM it's sold OTC works great is you but this brand. I don't feel you should look for an Endo they are not good Dr.'s for low T any Dr. that treats a lot of men and tests for Estradiol and use's Arimidex to keep it down is good. =================================================== ALL ABOUT DIM. Sure here is a few links that are all about it. But there are a lot of Co.'s out there selling DIM that don't work well. Indolplex/DIM is the best it dose not get killed in your stomach when you take it. Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a stable indole found in cruciferous vegetables which promotes a beneficial estrogen metabolism in both women and men. http://www.dimfaq.com/index.htm in this link it's full of links about it. http://qualitycounts.com/fpdim.html http://www.jbc.org/content/278/23/21136.full If you have DIM in caps it's not Indolplex so to take this and to get it to work open the cap pore the DIM into a spoon add some Olive oil and take it this helps to keep it from getting killed in your stomach. The following is some links to where you can buy Indolplex/DIM. http://www.vitaglo.com/e5336.html http://www.vitacost.com/EnzymaticTherapyEstroBalancewithDIM/searchby-PN/searchte\ xt-dim http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 http://www.estrobalance.net/ http://www.easyhealthzone.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=PP0108 & click=71 http://www.nbizz.com/longevityclinic/listings/213.html http://www.drugnatural.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD & Store_Code=DMOS & Product_\ Code=156497 http://www.smartbomb.com/itindo9.html?utm_source=mercent & utm_medium=shopcompare & \ utm_content=itindo9 & utm_campaign=mbsdb & mr:trackingCode=C6AEFBD1-E681-DE11-B7F3-0\ 019B9C043EB & mr:referralID=NA http://www.ritecare.com/cgi-bin/cart.pl?db=product_db.dat & category=natural+medic\ ine & method=any_words & search=iti-75336 http://www.naturamart.com/phytopharmica-pms-formula-with-indoplex-120-caps.html How to take Indolplex/DIM take one tablet 120 mgs at dinner time it can take 2 weeks to 2 months to get your Estradiol levels down it’s all about how high you are in your levels. What you need to do is get this down to about 20 pg/ml. When you get this low your night time and morning wood will come back so strong it will wake you up this means most of the time your at your best levels or what I call the sweet spot. Keep taking the DIM but if your wood stops your going down to low so just stop taking it. The day your wood comes back go back on the DIM but cut the tablet in half. If your Testosterone was tested and low but your not on TRT get it tested again you might find your levels came up some 200 to 300 points. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 Co-Moderator Phil > From: uu1845 <uu1845@...> > Subject: Re: Latest blood work > > Date: Monday, November 29, 2010, 4:38 PM > Hello, I sincerely hope all had a > reflective and peaceful Thanksgiving. > > I am going to use the database to find another Endo... > > Based on my latest blood work, should I purchase an > Estradiol blocker? > > So if, can someone recommend blockers that can help my > Estradiol levels in the mid 30's to be lowered while the gel > possibly increases my T levels? > > -thank you- > > > > > > > > From: uu1845 <uu1845@...> > > > Subject: Re: Latest blood work > > > > > > Date: Saturday, November 13, 2010, 7:28 PM > > > > > > My doc stated my results were " in normal range " . > He has > > > been apparently under stress.
