Guest guest
Thanks, Philip. I had to literally argue with my local EndoDoc so that, he would include E2 Tests!! From allthingsmale.com,I had sent him the list of Tests which supposed to be done ( I did not revealed the source of those Test List ) and he was having tons of arguments to claim that E2 is NOT needed. Finally, he agreed but, I still doubt that what he included is not E2 as, the lab report mentions ESTRADIOL and I suspect that, it is for Women. The Major Stats are as mentioned : Testosterone. 352 ng/dl ( 280 - 800 ng/dl ) Free T4...... 1.39 ng/dl ( 0.93 - 1.7 ng / dl ) Estradiol.... 15.01 pg/ml ( 7.63 - 42.60 pg/ml ) ( Is this for Male ? DMX would help to reduce my gyno?) PSA Tumer Marker 0.471 ng/ml ( 0.0 - 2.000 ng/ml ) LH........... 3.1 ( 1.7-8.6 mIU/ml ) Lipid Profile Cholestrol 175 mg/dl ( <200 mg/dl ) HDL.......... 45 mg/dl ( >40 mg/dl) LDL.......... 113 mg/dl ( <100 mg/dl) >>> LDL Bad Chol. is High Thyroglobuin Ant... 127 IU/ml ( < 115 IU/ml) >>>Thyroglobulin Ant is High Thyroid Paroxydas.. 6 IU/ml ( < 35 IU/ml) Hematocrit... 41.8 % ( 41.0 - 52.0 % ) Hemoglobin... 14.0 g/dl ( 13.5 - 17.5 g/dl) WBC.......... 5.7 ( 4.0 - 10.5 k/mm cu ) RBC.......... 5.04 ( 4.0 - 10.5 m / mm cu ) Uric Acid.... 9.0 mg/dl ( 3.4 - 7.0 ) >>> Uric Acid is High Follicle Stimulation 0.74 mIU/ml ( 1.50 - 12.40 mIU/ml ) >>> Follical Stimulation is Low I don't see the FSH. I don't know what consequences there would be for High Uric Acid, Thyroglobulin Ant and Low Folical Stimulation. Any input on this, is greately appreciated. Also, I don't see Ferritin , Iron levels,Prolactin, TSH either - despite I had requested the same !! However, the Testosterone shows 352 which was 260 about 4 months back. Seems that Proper Diet, Adequate Sleep and Good Stress Mgmnt + Exercise ( I lacked each of this till Feb. 2009 ) have promted my T to go up from 260 to 352.So, you are again, right in saying that, if the causes of Low T is eliminated, it would go up provided there's no physical damage / tumor around Pitutary Gland - which is not the case for me. I would go to my current EndoDoc only to get order for Dietician as without order, the Charges of Dietician won't be covered under my new insurance ! After 4 months, definitetly I would go to MI . Thanks again. Your inputs are VERY helpful. Guest guest
Testosterone is still very low but it might keep going up in time. Your not on TRT so this can mean your getting this under control. I feel you need your Iron and Ferritin tested because your Hematocrit and Hemoglobin are low normal. Best to be in the mid to upper range. WBC and RBC are low normal also do test your Iron doing Total Iron, Iron Binding Capacity and % Saturation with Ferritin. Your LH is on the low side but this can be on it's down cycle it fires on and off very fast FSH would be a better test. Do test your Thyroid your Thyroglobuin Ant is high this can mean your Anti's are attacking your Thyroid meaning you might have Hashimoto's Disease you need to read this link. http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/hashimotos/ Then read on the left side click on Recommended Labwork. If your having thyroid proplems this can drive down your Testosterone levels. Also check your fasting morning Cortisol levels is below 15 do a 4x's in a day Saliva test to see if you have Adrenal Fatigue. What lab did your Estradiol test the range does not look like anything I have see before. Still it looks OK my labs range is 13 to 54 I keep mine at 15 pg/ml because I have a low SHBG it's 20. I can't say what is with your Uric Acid or Follicle Stimulation tests. > > > > > > > > > From: rpp_rp <rpp_rp@> > > > > > Subject: What type of Tests are > > > needed under Hypo and Gyno ? > > > > > > > > > > Date: Monday, June 8, 2009, 6:26 PM > > > > > Hi Everyone, > > > > > > > > > > First, Thanks for all these valuable inputs.
