Guest guest
I posted the following to some other lists a few days ago. If you read the article, you will find some information on how to take K2 and blood thinning drugs like warfarin and coumadin concurrently and get much more consistent blood INR levels AND stop the arterial calcification and march towards heart disease that occurs with blood thinning medications. In my opinion, anyone blood thinning medication needs to be on K2 at the same time. This produces a more steady state INR level ultimately eliminating the need to worry about eating K containing products and eliminates the needs to get INR tested every couple of weeks and adjusted. -- The following article on vitamin K just might be of interest to most heart/cardio related patients. It also may be of interested to thyroid patients who have low TSH and who's doctors keep claiming that it will lead to bone loss. K2 may be one of the prime vitamins in keeping calcium in the bones and out of the arteries. Guest guest
Steve, thanks I will read it in a bit. Have you heard of proline/lysine/Vit C combo also prevents and reverses atherosclerosis? There are some writtings by Dr. Rath that are very convincing. Thanks again for the link. Guest guest
Also, I wanted to add that if i had my way and was not scared shitless to get off the rat poison, i would be on policosanol and nattokinase, much more health benefits and lots of 2 for 1 positive effects. Only problem nattokinase has only been studied to dissipate the clots after formation and not as a preventative, also quantifying levels in system there are no assays available that i know of....but sure would be the better way > > I contacted the MFG of Indoplex DIM. Guest guest
I have and once followed it. I don't take proline or lysine anymore and my vitamin C intake is now only 4000 mg/day. There are other better options nowadays that are move effective like getting blood serum vitamin D levels up to 60-80+ ng/mL, taking K2, taking pomegranate extract and cocoa extract. The D and K2 prevent and/or limit calcium deposits on arterial walls and help to remove it and the pomegranate and cocoa help remove those deposits and limit cholesterol oxidation. lef.org now has a product called " vascular protect " which appears to have significant arterial benefits. Guest guest
4 grams. There are 2 grams in my multivitamin from LEF and I take another 2 grams a day for a total of 4 grams (4000 mg). I used to take 10 grams or so but have cut back and may cut back in the future. Steve tomubl wrote: > Steve, 4000 mg of Vit C a day? or 400mg? > > >>>>> I contacted the MFG of Indoplex DIM.
