I should think this doesn't matter given you are taking T and cortisol and your natural rythyms for these are gone.
Guest guest
No do what your Dr. says he is right your levels peak for the first 4 hrs after doing gels or creams. And testing Cortisol on HC meds tells your Dr. if your doing to much HC and shutting down your Adreanls to far all you want to do is support them so they can heal. Most do HC 5mgs 4x's a day don't know what your taking but even glands will support adreanls to a small point. So if your fist test was say 15 for a morning fasting Cortiol test not on any cortisol meds. Taking your HC or Supplements should come back at some level say 12 this tells your Dr. your not taking to much and your adreanls are still making cortisol. A lot of people on HC doing 5mgs 4x's a day don't feel great and there test after taking there HC comes back 12 or higher this means a lot of the HC is getting killed in the stomach. So they do more like myself I do 30 mgs total a day starting with 10mgs at 5am then 5mgs at 9am and 10 mgs at 1pm then 5mgs at 6pm. So the Cortisol meds your taking will not change your levels. Don't test your Estradiol with the Ultra. Test from Quest it's not working right and a dam lot of men are getting levels back at <2 not even on anything to lower it. My last test we did both the Ultra and Sentive Test on the same blood draw. My Ultra test range <29 came back at 10 the Sentive test #4021 range 13 to 54 pg/ml came back to high 36 so my Dr. called them and they told him they were having trouble with the Ultra. test. I did well doing the old test and on the forums men were thinking they were to low and were to high this messed them up big time so no one is doing the Ultra test.
