I ordered a bottle last week and it arrived this week. This

" shortage " must be pharmacy dependent.

Do you mind sharing where you order from?

When I firist started on HCG I was doing 150mgs of T everyweek I added in 500

IU's of HCG 3 times a week. My levels jumped from 600 to 1200 my labs range is

1592 so this was great. I would not lower my T levels starting HCG better to do

15 shots then retest and go from there. Today I do 70mgs of depo t every 3 days

and 400 IU's of HCG the 2 days each in between my T shots. Doing this keeps me

leveled and holds back my E2 levels.

Dr. finally has agreed to let me introduce HCG into my therapy. - That's the

good news, the bad news is it still is backlogged. My pharmacist contacted the

wholesaler (for Walmart) and was told they were expecting new supplies first of

February.

My Dr. and I have agreed to try a little experiment. My baseline total T was 180

prior to starting TRT. I currently inject 2- 50 mg shots of DepoT every 7 days

so a total of 100 mg. This keeps my total T ~ 700 ng/dl. When I looked back at

my pre-TRT results, my LH was 3.4 on a range of 2-9 so one would think that if

my T was low my LH would be high and not in the lower third of the range - could

it be I really was secondary? So I am going to drop my T injection by 25% and

inject the HCG at 250 iu three times a week. If my testicles really can only

produce 180 then my total T should not change with the added HCG. If I really am

secondary, then my total T should increase significanly.

So If I ever can get the HCG - we will see what happens. I will keep the group

posted.

Hi,

I order from an IOP that caters mainly to the BB crowd.

I save money... I can buy 10ml of test for 60$... and per my sucky

insurance that's 3 months's prescriptions at 40$ per... or 120$

but anyway... they have traditionally carried real, name brand

" Pregynl " in 1500iu and 5000iu ampules... this last order came and it

was NOT real Pregynl... though that's what it said on the ampules...

but the silk screening wasn't right... definitely counterfeit but may

or may not be hcg (haven't tried it yet)...

in the BB world there are all sorts of " fakes " ... like this same place

sells " generic cialis " for about 1$ each... right color, wrong

shape... but they work :-}

ya pays your money and ya takes your chances....

That may be a factor, Phil, but a pharmacy, such as Dr 's

recommended one, that deals with TRT patients may be better stocked to

begin with. Locally, the pharmacy near the hospital that is privately

owned, not part of a big chain has also always had it even in times

where I see posts on this board about shortages. Sometimes things

aren't always as black and white as some guy wrote a book. Walmart,

CVS, Walgreens are stocked for fast moving high demand drugs. They're

not going to be as prepared to deal with less common drugs such as

HCG. I suggest people having trouble finding it locally look up the

fertility doctors in the area and see what phatmacies they desk with.

Might have better luck finding in stock there.

Keep in kind that just because some doc says it will help women lose

weight doesn't mean every doc in the world is now going to write an

off label Rx for it.

I understand that, my point is only that every year we get some slew

of posts saying there is an HCG shortage, and even this year I have

never had trouble getting the stuff from real pharmacies. I got a

shipment last week with no delays. Guys need to get out of Walmart

and call a real pharmacy ran by pharmacists, not corporations.

Almost all businesses are corporations.

WalMart, RiteAid, DrugEmporium, CollegePharmacy, s, CVS, & Mom &

Pop pharmacies all purchase from different distributers. They do not

stock very many drugs for various reasons. They usually get one day

or overnigh service from the distributers.

All the different distributers of a;; the brands say the same thing,

supplies will be available in February. It sounds like one company

makes all of the brands & puts different name labels on them. It is

packaged in two vials & has to be mixed by the purchaser. Ampules

may be fakes.

WalMart is not the problem.

Forget the legal bull about mom and pop's pharmacy being a corporation

for the separation of personal assets from business - it's just

semantics and confuses my point with no value added.

Are you some kind of Walmart lover? Not that I am a hater, but you

glossed over my entire point, which is that LARGE CORPORATION RETAIL

PHARMACIES are not necessary going to carry less " popular " drugs as

they just take up shelf space.

A small professional pharmacy that caters to a certain doctor or group

of doctors will carry a supply of the drugs that doctor prescribes so

that they don't have to turn patients away.

My local CVS never has any brand of HCG in stock. They always have to

order it. Same for the Walgreens. The pharmacy my doc recommends had

never not had it. Neither has the private pharmacy next to the

hospital near here.

So, maybe these guys keep a larger stock on hand, or maybe higher

volume gives them better relationship and first dibs on what

distributors get, or maybe I am just incredibly lucky in never running

out.

I just find it odd that after the many years Ive followed this group,

and the five or six panics of there's no HCG available, I have never

been unable to obtain it for myself.

And if your thesis that only one manufacturer makes thevstiff is

accurate, then how do you explain guys like Phil who claim to not get

the same sense of well being post injection of APP brand as they do

from Novarel?

I've been getting my HCG from a private pharmacy that caters to the local

fertility doctors. Have always been able to get it from them until now, even

they are out and have been for over a month.
