It is really individual dependent - some can use it with great results, some can

initially and then the results deminish and some can't use it at all. It is a

trial and error - you just have to monitor it constantly.

Don't let the posts worrry you a lot of men on gels do good for a long time and

don't have a problem. The problem with most is not doing testing my Dr. tests

me every 6 weeks my health care pays for it still one needs to be tested at

least every 90 days. I hear men not being tested for a yr. this is crazy to

many things can and do go wrong. If his levels are good and he feel good stay

with it.

Been using androgel for almost a year, works great for me, 7.5 mg/day.

E2 <20, Test =near 700, great libido, good and frequent erections,

helps with conditioning (but nothing beats training hard and eating

clean), tesosterone really helped my anxiety.

like any medication ymmv (your mileage may vary).

Gel, imo, gels are definitely worth trying unless you have a huge

source of tesosterone enanthate (black market and with the recent

steroid crackdown buying non script steroids is not easy)

I took them for about two years. The last four months probably my

absorbtion dropped and I ended up at about 1/2 my previous levels,

even as I upped my dose. For me my skin seemed to thicken, and I

started growing hair on the application areas and that absorbed some

too.

Shots are also much much cheaper.

I beleive my 6 months on gel was about $600. Shots less than $100.

Gel worked for about a year then I had to increase the dose 50% to get

the same result. Six months later I was subnormal T again. I went to

injections and was immediately in the upper quarter of the normal

range.
