Well .5 mgs is strong you might go down so fast you miss the sweet spot try .25

mgs everyother day you should be down in about 1 to 2 weeks first thing to

happen is you will get some strong night time and morning wood this is the sweet

spot. I gage not going to low by my wood if you get yours back your at your

best level. But if later it stops your going down to low so just stop the

arimidex until wood comes back that day go back on it but do every 3 days.

Gaging my wood and labs I do great. I just got my labs today and my Estradiol

is 21 pg/ml but my SHBG is lower at 20 so I need to get down to about 15 pg/ml

and I am not getting good hard wood this tells me I need to up my dose.

For me with that level I would do .5 once, and a quarter every other

day afterwards and I'd expect to be in the 20 to 30 range by day 2.

Thanks Philip.

What is the relationship of SHBG to E2 as mentioned below?

My starting E2 is 47 pg/ml and my SHBG is 48 nmol/l

SHBG binds up Testosterone the higher ones Estradiol E2 levels go the higher

SHBG goes. So as you get E2 levels down SHBG goes down and free's up more

Testosterone. Yet as one gets more leveled on TRT SHBG can go very low. This

is a cut and paste from Dr. 's forum from chilln.

==========================================================================

On this forum we have males, such as gman, who are modulating their hormones by

boosting their T to above-optimum levels.

Once males boost their T to above-optimum levels, then their body dumps T into

E2 and DHT fast, and drops SHBG to the floor to achieve the speed.

By dropping SHBG to the floor, the body frees up as much T as it can so that

excess T can be quickly metabolized into urinary metabolites.

###

The concept of " above-optimum " differs for each of us, because it's our genes

which determine what are our setpoints for optimum T and optimum E2 and optimum

everything-else.

In gman's case, his genes are saying that his T levels are definitely in the

" above-optimum " for his body, and so his body is exhibiting this adverse

reaction.

###

When anyone's body gets into this position, it is definitely not optimal in the

long term.

Putting any substance into your body, which the body is fighting hard to dump

and excrete, will most likely cause long term damage to the liver, and liver

issues will cause downstream issues everywhere else.

Effectively this sort of body reaction to high T is similar to the same reaction

as occurs to bodybuilders doing high-dose steroid cycles. Their livers get

damaged.
