Guest guest
The usual solution is Arimidex. I've been on TRT for 16 months, and Arimidex for 4 months. 1/4 mg every other day. The other " solution " is exercise and weight loss. I weighted 235 when I started, and 205 now. Another solution is more frequent shots of a smaller amount to prevent a surge in T which aromatizes to E2. I went from 2 ml once a month to 1 ml every two weeks. Decreasing alcohol comsumption might help too. With all that said, my boobs are as big as ever. So far it might have slowed thing down, but there has been no noticable reversal. Surgery and liposuction are not something I'd consider. I'm also not going to give up " T " . I'd certainly like to hear someone's success story. > > Hey, everyone. It comes from T being converted to E2, and estrogen. A presrip0tion for Arimidex should strop it and can reverse it if it hasn't progressed very far. Arimidex binds up the enzyme responsible for facilitating the conversion.

And over shooting to low E2 is even worse. > >> >> Hey, everyone. It is almost impossible to lose weight with high E2. Once you get the arimidex it gets much easier. SHit the fat weight sometimes just falls off after getting E2 down. And then the T starts putting on muscle. I dropped probably 30 pounds of fat and put on 15 of muscle once E2 came down.

Guest guest
I think part of my problem was that both E2 (Estradiol) and E1 (Estrone) were high - in the 80's. While the Arimidex might have prevented further conversion of T into E2, the Estrone can act as a reservior for estrogen. I believe E1 can convert back into E2, so there was yet another source of estrogen. > > >How long did it take to get your E2 down? > > With arimidex, it's very fast. I Understand DIM helps metabolize Estrone and E2 more quickly. But I've never seen anything on E2 coming from estrone in men. E2 is also the most potent form of E. Most of the talk is focusing on that and ignores estrone. > >> >> >How long did it take to get your E2 down? >> >> With arimidex, it's very fast. A half a tablet will reduce by about >> 50%. Guest guest
, you at taking roughly 12.5mgs/7 days. What are your thoughts on taking smaller amounts daily since we are dealing with pulsatile simulation factors? Tom U > >> > >> > > >> >The usual solution is Arimidex. What are your thoughts >on taking smaller amounts daily since we are dealing with pulsatile >simulation factors? A tablet is actually 1 mg. I cut the tablets into quarters. I usually take 3 or 4 of these quarters a week. Or .75 mg to 1 mg. 30 tablets then lasts me almost 40 weeks. Someone here has bought liquid arimidex/anastrozol in veterinary grade and used that to do daily. Arimidex has about a 48 hour half life. Though some sources say its a bit longer. SO I don't see a lot of benefit to going daily. Also for me - with the size and position of my prostate I get to judge E2 levels by urine flow. WHen my levels are down I have a good stream. When it rises I start to get much less flow. This is I assume individual for me. But it helps me a lot to gauge my levels.
Guest guest
That is interesting about E2 and urine flow an half life. I have noticed that since I have stared TRT I am having to get up at night, etc, but when leveled all is great. Thanks for the information, I am going to ask my doc to go to ..25's every 3 days then ratchet up to every other as oyu have described if E2 is on the rise. I have some work products I am putting out on this board and I want you to review them when I post if you have time. They will be up at the man cave and I hope Phil and the others engaged on this board will get involved.more later.......... > > > > >, you at taking roughly 12.5mgs/7 days. Your levels will determine how much arimidex you need. Some here get by with a 1/4 tab a week. And if high E2 is bad. Low E2 is worse. Low E2 (much below 14) will totally steal your libido. Someone here once said it could make a blow job feel liking shaking hands. It also makes you a wreck in mood and energy. You mention you like a scientific approach. I suggest getting the data and planning a response rather than an experimental approach.
