Guest guest
We are " supposed " to have freedom of speech. Christians do not feel that the Bible and their Christianity is off topic " at anytime anywhere " because it is a complete way of life and affects everything we do, say, and hear. No one wants to argue-----we just know we are right and want to defend morality and help others be saved when possible because those that are not Christians have " no clue " as what is going to happen to them in the afterlife. To us, it is like saving a child from falling into a swimming pool and drowning---only much more serious than that, therefore it is difficult to convince us that we should be silent about what we know when it is the most important thing of all for survival in eternity. Most people who go to hell, have no clue " why " they are there when they arrive, and the Bible tells us that two thirds of all people on the earth that have ever lived and died are going there. That is so tradgic it is unimaginable by any comparison. So knowing what we know, we are willing to risk even our lives to save one person from going to such a terrible place----but argue----no. The Bible also says " no man " comes to the Father except the Father draw them. Arguementation cannot draw someone to salvation but telling people about it and bringing it to their attention will at least be an aid for their consideration and contemplation and then we pray for them silently so that God will open the eyes of their understanding and draw their hearts. Religion is another topic, and it does cause arguements----there is a big difference between being knowledgable of the Bible and walking the walk, and just being a religious blabber mouth. There are many religions each with their own ideas (and most of them in error) but there is only one Bible and that is where we are to seach the scriptures and study ourselves approved. It says we should win people over by example, not by arguement. Guest guest
The only people that have bothered to TEACH me, not preach to me, is the rastafarians. Probably because of where I lived. They are the most loving people I have ever come across. They never told me I was going to hell and they never made me feel like I was evil because I have different beleifs. The only bible I have ever read was the rastafarian bible and so I really am not one to argue about the bible, since I know nothing. I am just sick of people telling other people they are wrong because they are " right " . What makes you right? Nobody really knows what is right and what is wrong. Just like they say, just because you go to church on Sunday doesnt make you christian. > >We are " supposed " to have freedom of speech.
