Guest guest
I am about 3-4 months into HRT, started with T cyp then about 2 weeks ago arimidex. I can sense when E2 is rising, but as mentioned in here it is one thing to assume E2 increase and another to confirm the increase by getting tested. E2 seems to be the level that requires the most attention and I am not sure about others but Quest takes sometimes 2 weeks to get T and E2 results generated. Between getting the labs ordered, taking them and waiting for the results is sometimes as much as 2-3 weeks. I have searched relentlessly for a home monitor and cannot find any viable means of tracking E2 or other levels. Also, it appears that 24 hour urine is the way to go anyhow. I am in the process of learning how to apply Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) to metabalite and hormone monitoring. If someone has a means to track E2 or any other hormone activity please post. Thanks, Tom U
