Confused ? Fat digestion: Liver or GB?

I thought that the upper intestines signaled the gall bladder to

release bile when it detected the need to digest fat. I beleived the

liver just secreted bile normally all the time. I thought it was the

gall bladder that responded to the need for more bile for fat

digestion. Am I wrong? Or just confused?

needed bile to breakdown the fat of the olive oil. Olive oil doesn't

push anything out, nor does the lemon juice.
