Guest guest
Hi and Well Come, Your Total T is in my units 575 Your LH and FSH look dam good. SHBG is high this tells me your Estradiol levels might be high. SHBG binds up Free and % of Free Testosterone so do test this if it's high above 73 getting this down will lower your SHBG levels and free up your Free Testosterone and Total can go up some 200 to 300 more points in my units. Do you have night time and morning wood if not this might be the reasion why. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2008/nov2008_Dangers-of-Excess-Estrogen-in-the-Ag\ ing-Male_01.htm http://www.medibolics.com/ArimidexBoostsTestosterone.htm http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 Do you eat or drink SOY if so stop this is not good for men it has a non working marker in it that looks to the brain like it's Estradiol high levels of this fool the brain into thinking it's Testsoterone and your levels can go down. Guest guest
Hi Phil, Thanks for your post. Is 575 a good level? Do I need to supplement testosterone? I will ask my doctor to test my Estradiol levels. Thanks for the links! > > > From: <pauljennings2008@...> > > Subject: How are my Testosterone levels? > > > > Date: Tuesday, October 6, 2009, 6:39 AM > > Hi > > > > I am newish to this group. Guest guest
Sorry I forgot to answer your question about morning and evening wood. I am not sure exactly what you are asking. Could you explain? I don't have a problem getting an erection when aroused but don't wake up with one.. Thanks paul > > > From: <pauljennings2008@...> > > Subject: How are my Testosterone levels? > > > > Date: Tuesday, October 6, 2009, 6:39 AM > > Hi > > > > I am newish to this group. Guest guest
For a lot of men yes this is a good level and if your Estradiol levels are high getting them down your Testosterone levels will test higher. What happens is your brain can't tell the difference between Testosterone and Estradiol Estradiol is made from Testosterone. So if your Estradiol levels are high your brain will think it's Testostreone and slow down sending the LH and FSH message to your testis to make more testosterone so you end up with lower levels. One can get there levels higher just getting there Estradiol levels down. If you don't get involuntary nocturnal erections that appear during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. It can mean your Estradiol levels are to high the first thing that came back for me getting my high Estradiol levels down was my involuntary nocturnal erections that appear during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep came back. Your in the UK I don't know if your Endo will give you Arimidex to get this down if your to high. But you can use DIM this works and is sold OTC. http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 http://www.dimfaq.com/index.htm Co-Moderator Phil > From: <pauljennings2008@...> > Subject: Re: How are my Testosterone levels? > > Date: Tuesday, October 6, 2009, 12:17 PM > Hi Phil, > > Thanks for your post. You don't need " supplementation " . T cannot be supplemented. When you take extra testosterone feed back mechanisms tell the brain to order less. You levels can actually fall. Testosterone is a REP{LACEMENT therapy. You take so much natural production essentially stops and all the T you get is from the therapy. SO you definitely don't want to go that road to pick up a few points. If you are high in E2 treating that can boost your total levels 200 to 300 points.
