Guest guest
Hi Bruce. Sounds as if you're just on the edge between euthroid and hyper...how do you feel? Get the scan of your adrenal done. Good idea. It never hurts to make sure all is well. Interesting that your TSH is so low while the other values are in range or very close.... Sounds like the lull before the storm... Maybe you need just a very small amount of anti-thyroid med now. Let us know what your endo says. Eat well - 's dietary ideas are very useful. Kate New test results On Monday I had my blood tested in anticipation of my next visit to the endo (Jan 7th). I guess I'm not in hyper remission yet. I've been off the medication for about 1.5 months after almost 14 months of " treatment " . The new numbers are: TSH: <0.01 uIU/ml Reference Range: 0.35 - 5.50 (this range is out of date according to my recent research http://thyroid.about.com/library/news/bltshwars-pdffile.htm ) T3: 186 ng/dl Reference Range: 60 - 181 T4: 9.4 ug/dL Reference Range: 4.5 - 10.9 (I've seen a different range of 5.6 - 13.7 on the WWW http://www.gravesdiseasecure.com/tshresults01.html?gclid=CNOR4ojKn40CFSXlgAode0K\ 02Q ) Free T4: 1.7 ug/dl Reference Range: 0.9 - 1.8 (I've seen a different range of 0.8 - 1.5 on the WWW http://www.gravesdiseasecure.com/tshresults01.html?gclid=CNOR4ojKn40CFSXlgAode0K\ 02Q ) I also had a CT scan, again, this time of my adrenal gland because they spotted an adenoma on it during a CT scan of my lymph node the summer of 2006. It hasn't changed, just like my poor lymph node, since the 1st CT scan. Now my PCP wants to have a MRI done of my adrenal gland. --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Guest guest
Also, if I remember right....the TSH is the last to respond. And it can even stay suppressed for years after euthroid levels are reached. That is why its so important to watch the FT4 and FT3 levels. But it looks like you may be closing in on euthroid. Congrats, keep up the good work! Kim aka Hyperkim : ) Re: New test results Hi Bruce. Sounds as if you're just on the edge between euthroid and hyper...how do you feel? Get the scan of your adrenal done. Good idea. Do not be concerned about your thyroid, hormone levels, etc. because all of those problems are all caused by candida. See the article " Candida Causes Cell Membrane Defects " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php All organs will normalize as you progress, so it is not wise to tamper with them by using drugs or other medications in the meantime. I lost my thyroid by tampering with it when I had candida. This program treats the body as a whole so it can " heal itself. " Therefore I do not recommend shooting off and treating this and treating that since it is very counterproductive and can cause problems as your organs begin to recover, like my thyroid did. Guest guest
Hi, ny here. I would welcome some feedback on my test results: Estradiol 0.5 / 0.5-2.2 Progesterone 6 / 12-100 Testosterone 42 / 44-148 I need help! I am 50 and have decreased libido over the last 10 years and is at zero now. I have always been PE, but not so much ED, just somewhat. I just ordered some Androgel 5gr, but at over $5 a day it isn't very affordable. Anyone have a less expensive remedy? I am self diagnosing right now as I have no insurance. Am I on the right track? Thanks. ny (FYI)This particular test from ZRT also indicates that I have Adrenal stress and I am Hyp0 which I will address with my Hyp0-T forum group as well. Guest guest
You really should be under a quality doctors care to get the maximum benefits. Having said that, test cypionate or test enathate injections are the cheapest route to go. Most do approx. 100 mg injections weekly, and a 10ml vial will last approx. 6 months at that rate. Should be able to find some on the net at various locations for around $60, plus shipping. I haven't ordered any yet, still on Androgel, but am thinking of switching soon. My doc is ok with injections, but wants them done in the office. I think he wants the extra insurance money for an office visit, when I could easily and cheaper to do them at home.
