Guest guest
I think, hopefully, the kind of radiation your husband had was high dose, effective at killing cells and not just damaging dna and leaving the cells there , It's been since '91 when he had the radiation therapy, and he's been doing fine since. His cancer was a slow-growing cancer but was very deadly. Luckily it appeared that it hadn't left the testicle and was not in the tube. He had the radiation as a preventative measure; however, we both wish at times that he didn't have it because of his past digestion problems. But his digestion problems are much better now since we eat healthier and have learned a lot about nutrition. I had a complete hyst in August of 1990, and he had his testicular cancer surgery in Feb. of 1991. I'm thankful that he's still around. No one knows how long they have. You can walk outside and get hit by lightning, or inside your house for that matter. So I just take one day at a time. That's all I know!!!
