Guest guest
Hi, instead of 1/2mg once a week talk to her about 1/4mg twice a week. same idea as the twice weekly shot guys... keep hormone levels more even without the roller coaster effect. > > >I just met with a hormone specialist in Maitland, FL her name is Dr. > > Landa. Guest guest
When I was doing patches and E2 was high normal, I used Arimidex by crushing it and using a knife to divide them in to 1/8ths and loaded each dose into capsules. Effectively, I took 1/8th of a tablet per day which should give me fairly steady results. I purchased my internationally then at about about $200 for 30 1 mg pills which lasted 30 weeks. Guest guest
Steve, I have been pretty good on just .5/ml of test cyp once a week (Wed. mornings) and have been able to achieve a 900 T level, which is exactly where my doc wants me to be. I really don't want to have to go through the needle ritual more than once a week. Just speculating, any idea is serum is showing 900 what the flux range might be in an average/typical over a period of a week. In other words if testing is consistent at 900/blood draw not pulsatile, the do oyu think at the end of 7 days I go to lets say 600 T? I am interested in your daily application of Arimidex and have come to learn that much of my mid drift fat is attributed to E2 the evil bitch hormone. How long have you been on daily and what has your results been? I was at an E2 of 40, took my first .5mg Anastrole/Arimidex last Sunday, shot T on Wed, wondering if I should take another .5 of Anastrole/Arimidex today? She uses a compounding pharmacy in AL called Medaus. I have had no problem with them and they mix to spec. So I already get the cap config oyu have to bust ass on and encourage you to seek a compounding to save you time. I suppose I could have her ask for smaller doses and go daily, which makes alot of sense. Do you think .5mg/wk is going to get it for me as a 6'1 " , 280lbs? I am not sure if it is body mass calculated.... Thanks > >> > >>> I just met with a hormone specialist in Maitland, FL her name is Dr. > >>> Landa. Guest guest
Once I switched to injections, I never had an E2 problem. It's been like 6+ years since I took any Arimidex. I don't know the best way to prescribe, it was just my practice to divide pills up into 1/8ths by crushing and using a knife to seperate them into almost equal 1/8ths and then place the results into empty capsules and dose daily. So, I was taking 1 mg over 8 days. It was easier to divide the crushed pills in half three times to get the 1/8th sizes then to try to divide up into 1/7ths. I always get blood work the morning I would have given myself the weekly T shot and then do the T shot in the afternoon. Consequently, my blood work used to be the low point of my T cycle. However, since I've started HCG (which I don't think does a lot for me), I take the two week HCG shots the two previous days to my T shot so I'm not sure where the low of my T cycle is anymore. Most of the time, I order and pay for my own blood work so I was the one that scheduled when I got blood drawn and then would show up with lab work at my medical appointment. Doing this schedule, I satisified the doctor that my T wasn't too high but he wasn't cluded in to the fact that this was the low point of my T cycle. If I'm on insurance and I am now, I will schedule my doctor's appointment the day before my T injection so I can again get blood drawn at the same point in the cycle (the next day usually fasting because of other blood work which justifies waiting till the next day). If for some reason I cannot get in the next day and need to way another day, I'll postpone my T injection until the blood is drawn. Guest guest
Steve, thanks for the input. How were you able order and pay for your own blood work? Don't you need a script pad and MD, DO or NO status? > >>>> > >>>>> I just met with a hormone specialist in Maitland, FL her name is Dr. > >>>>> Landa. Guest guest
In the USA, one needs a prescription. However, one can order tests on quite a few lab sites and their doctors on staff/contract/etc will order the tests and send you the paper work. I works quite smothly unless you happen to live in the state of New York and then your f*^ked up. Here's where I order most lab work. Their CBC/CMP/Uric/Cholesterol combo test is by far the cheapest out there. I usually order the Male Life Extension Panel at least twice a year - the third link below: Main blood test link: http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/Health-Well-Being/Health-23000-1/Blood-T\ ests.htm CBC/CMP/Uric/Cholesterol blood test link: http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/ItemLC381822/Chemistry-Profile-Complete-\ Blood-Count-Blood-Test.html Male Life Extension Panel Link (T,Free T, PSA, DHEAs, E2, etc): http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/ItemLC322582/Male-Life-Extension-Panel-B\ lood-Test.html Directlabs.com's web site has gotten worse but test options have increased - I have to use IE instead of Firefox to access them effectively and the information on each test has gone down dramatically. http://directlabs.com/ Here are some other places people use. I'm sure their are move places out there for US residents/citizens but I haven't looked lately. Theses all were listed in my favorite places. http://www.labsafe.com/ http://www.bloodworksusa.com/ http://www.privatemdlabs.com/ One final point. If one doesn't NOT have health insurance and needs to get blood work, ordering it yourself IS the CHEAPEST way. The LEF CBC/CMP/Uric/Cholesterol test is only $35 bucks. If you're doctored ordered these same tests and you went to the same lab (LabCorp for me), then LabCorp would likely bill you several hundred dollars. As always, lack of financial resources will limit testing options. Steve tomubl wrote: > Steve, thanks for the input. How were you able order and pay for your > own blood work? Guest guest
Steve, this is good ju ju, thanks for all of the research. I have identified a Siemens home diagnostic I am looking into and will update when I have more. Also, I will be compiling a comprehensive excel sheet of all male hormones, function, origination, leveling and ancillary comments. The idea is to become self sustained to the greatest extent possible. I am trying to accumulate at least a 1 years supply of all meds and injects and a means of monitoring and administering myself in the event of an event. > >>>>>> > >>>>>>> I just met with a hormone specialist in Maitland, FL her name > > is Dr. > >>>>>>> Landa.
