Guest guest
You are injecting a powerful steroid, more than your body can handle at the time of injection, therefore some of it is converting to estrogen, hence the bloated feeling. Not to worry, it is water retention, not " fat " , and it will go away as the shot wears off. Some take an antiestrogen like a quarter arimidex the day of injection, some take DIMM, over the counter supplement. Others, like me, take nothing, and just realize that I am going to gain a couple of pounds in the days after a shot due to water weight gain, even if I cut way back on eating food, still happens, comes with the territory. I self inject 1/2 a CC, I think that is the 100mg, about every 16 days or so. I also learned long ago to eat NO sweets, nothing with sugar if I can help it, NO breads (starch), and try to stay with vegatables and protein, some apples oranges to fill in, in other words food that my body cannot derive much if any fat from, and that I can easily process and poop out. Only way I know of to deal with all this. Sometimes, life just sucks and hypogonadism sure adds to this problem. Hang in there! norton
Guest guest
thanks for reply. figured it was E2 after all i've read over last few years. however, u say u live with it. when does one ever feel any good knowing they'll be bloated after a shot. more importantly, how long till the shot of 100mg wears off? u said u inject every 16 days? wow...most do 100mg every week. regardless, i'm not gonna take another shot. jsut gonna stick with 25mg clomid daily for 6 wks. thanks! jack > > You are injecting a powerful steroid, more than your body can handle > at the time of injection, therefore some of it is converting to > estrogen, hence the bloated feeling. Guest guest
This merits some comment. Letting E2 gradually come down on its own may be problematic, as it may contribute to development of gynecomastia during periods of elevation. Have a sensitive or ultrasensitive estradiol blood test done to check the actual number, as it could be higher than you suspect. ~Xian > > You are injecting a powerful steroid, more than your body can handle > at the time of injection, therefore some of it is converting to > estrogen, hence the bloated feeling.
