Guest guest
Well we have something in common. In Jan They foud I have a 2.8 cm single stone. Male, 44, 100 lbs overweight 1) Mine never bothered me for years either , some people go to there grave with lots of stones and no attacks. Stones discovered in autopsy. Takes years to form stone that size. 2) Fatty foods trigger it. Easy to find list of trigger foods on the web. 3) Bad news the surgeon I saw said Lapiscropic would not work for huge stone. So you are talking 6 week recover time off work. I declined operation. They gave me perceset for the pain, and I am working on alternative herbal methods. Modern Medicine's dissolving medicine Actagall, is toxix to liver and haas bad side effects. I declined that also. 4) There is a medication for post op dirreah. I forget its name, it is basically bile salts. 5) Alternative methods for calcified stones: <A HREF= " http://www.herballegacy.com/id85.htm " >http://www.herballegacy.com/id85.htm\ </A> & Chanca Piedra from Raintree You might want to check out my previous post earlier this evening on the Chinese herbal site in China. Also: <A HREF= " http://www.sensiblehealth.com " >http://www.sensiblehealth.com</A> Chang, give her a call. Lastly I know a lot more, but cant type it all. Email me. Arrang to call me, I have 4 or 5 other things that can help. I have not had an attack since December using these methods. They may work for you. I urge you to take advantage of my research to see if it will help. Mike Rodriquez
Guest guest
live in Buffalo. Anyone know where I might find an alternative practitioner? I don't mind traveling. Hello, Dr. Mercola is one who is a D.O., plus he's into natural methods of treatment. You might consider contacting him. If he can't help you, I'm sure he knows doctors who can. I think he's in Chicago, but I could be wrong. Susie
Guest guest
he only two practitioners i know of that are aware of the flushes are saul pressman in vancouver and andreas moritz. hulda clark of course is familiar with them Let me state that Dr. Mercola knows about the cleanses too and he's all for them. If you don't have his website address, here it is: <A HREF= " http://www.mercola.com/1999/archive/gallstone_treatment.htm " > http://www.mercola.com/1999/archive/gallstone_treatment.htm</A> He used to have a specific recipe listed and he may still have it somewhere, but you'll have to do searches for it. He does, however, advocate the cleanse if your GB is not too far gone.

Guest guest
I had my first attack and then the others just kept coming, Im not sure what causes it, they say it was cause I was pregnant, after awhile I would even have attack when I was eating NO fat and no grease. So it isnt always fat the does it. They dont just remove the stone with laproscopy they remove the whole gallbladder. I dont have chronic diarream but I do have IBS from the removal of the gb, and I think just about everyone that has gotten their gb removed has that. ( This is something docs dont tell you). I think what causes an attack is your gb shoots out the bile and a stone goes with it, the stone gets stuck and you get severe pain, then what I beleive is that the bile backs up behind it and eventually the pressure pushes the stone out. Once the stone is out it is immediate releif, unless you have developed pancreatitis or something. >From: " jerry " <jerryd22@...> >Reply-gallstones >gallstones >Subject: 3 cm gallstone please help >Date: Fri, 23 May 2003 23:12:50 -0000 > >I posted this some time ago, but didnt get much advise. Guest guest
Thank you all for the input. Aluckower, I'm curious as to how you managed to pass your large stones. Did you use any particular method, or a variety of them? Or is it possible to pass them naturally? I've yet to find a doctor to advocate any method other than snipping the gallbladder out, and frankly, I am more fearful of the ramifications of not having a gb than I am of the attacks. I live in Buffalo. Anyone know where I might find an alternative practitioner? Guest guest
the only two practitioners i know of that are aware of the flushes are saul pressman in vancouver and andreas moritz. hulda clark of course is familiar with them in her book she says not to worry about large stones because the epsom salts will dilate your biliary tubing and ducts sifficiently. so far i found this to be true in over 300 flushes. things got stock, but eventually everything has passed. i considered surgery many times, but i know that isnt a solution so i've kept flushing. frankly in the weeks previous to the monsters coming out i was miserable because it wasnt passing. but eventually i persevered and it came out. i think patience is a big part of this. i forged my own way by eating intuitively. i desire high fat foods often, and i think this has the effect of stimulating the liver which in turn helps to push the stones forward. i can't advocate this for everyone because i'm making this up as i go along but so far it's working for me. i still have a lot more to get out so i need more patience. the other theories are to eat a cleansing diet like sandra cabots, but this didnt work for me. chanca pieadra is supposed to break up stones, but i dont think that it worked for me in breaking up the big ones.
