Hello all,

When I was hospitalised with gb problems and pancreatitis, the doctors gave

me morphine and paracetamol, saying that they work very well together for this

condition. I could have morphine every hour because of the pain of

pancreatitis. Needless to say, I came off it after a couple of days after

throwing up

radio-active looking green stuff, which the nurses said was bile. I was also

hallucinating dreadfully and imagining all sorts of things! I don't take

paracetamol either now because my normal doctor told me it stresses out your

liver

and she told me to be careful with it. So, why oh why do they give you

such stuff when it does such things to your insides? I had a headache

yesterday and just drank loads and loads of water and it cleared it. A

healing

friend of mine told me that drinking lots of water can clear up a multitude of

things and can help with depression, headaches, etc.

Susie, I am the one who has been on Chinese herbs and I posted the

ingredients that I know to be in the decoction a couple of days ago. They are

just

boiled up and simmered for half an hour and then strained. They really just

look

like a load of twigs and things you would sweep up after gardening, honestly!!

You drink one half after your morning meal and the other after your evening

meal. Tastes awful, really awful, but it seems to have worked so far for me.

I haven't been on them for two weeks now and feel fine, as though the gb

problems never happened. It was quite expensive in the short term, but not as

much as if I had ended up having the op to remove the gb. Plus there are all

the

possible complications and risks which I don't want. I am just taking the

normal gb supplements like milk thistle, dandelion root, soya lecithin, cod

liver oil and taurine now. Am watching my diet, like everyone else, too,

although by no means am I being a saint in that department. Just everything in

moderation (apart from the bad fats and trigger foods). I would never have been

able to get my self better if it hadn't been for the advice on this site.

Are these the ones that you order from Chang?
