I too used to only post when I was not doing good.

Now that I'm doing well, I figured I'd share the experience to those

who may benefit from it.

In the beginning, my primary care said my test was normal (350 - yeah

normal). My neurologist insisted on doing it over (322 this time)

and noticed it was low. He referred me to an endocronologist (a

nationally renowned one - http://www.sparkmd.com/bio.htm) and he said

I needed a shrink and sent me down for lab tests. He quickly

retracted that when my test came back at 302. So I'm like wtf - 322

is not low enough to get treated but 302 is? Anyway, I said screw

this guy (even though he wanted to follow up with TRT) and got

another Endo cause I didn't appreciate him not taking my symptoms

seriously.

The second Endo treated me with Androgel and at first I felt good.

He stopped raising my test level when it hit 500. I am 32 so I

didn't see the reason for that. Anyway, I started feeling like shit

again (tired, foggy head, could never wake up in the morning) and I

told him. He thought I was drug seeking and basically ignored it.

So I went to a 'wellness clinic'.

Best damn thing I ever did.

They tested my testosterone level and it was sky high (I had since

doubled the androgel since leaving my last endo... ha). But even

with a 1200 test level, I still felt down/tired.

He gave me a 24 hour, 4 vial salvia test kit. It turned out my

cortisol levels were flat all day long (as opposed to high in the

morning with a gradual slope towards dinner time).

After getting on cortisol (10 mg morn, 5 mg noon) and injections of

cypionate 50mg twice per week I feel a lot more alive.

He is slowly titrating me off the cortisol to see if my adrenals have

recovered. After that, I've told him I want to start HCG with the

cyp injections. He didn't have a problem with that.

That's my story. I feel pretty much back to normal - and I don't

really need the neurologist anymore since I think adrenal

insufficiency and hypogonadism were my issues.

This board is the best support around.

I have to thank Phil and everyone else for keeping it together.

thanks,

Ronny
