Hello Everyone

I wanted just to let you know I am fine. I feel better than ever.

Perhaps that isnt all due to the GB being gone, but the stress of

the whole GB issue is gone.

Diet is the next thing to considered. Although it has been little

over a week since surgery I did eat chili the other night with no

problem.

My bowel habits are better than before. Not quite sure why that is

but I am more normal than before. Constipation was a real problem.

I do notice another thing that does not make me happy. I have

cramping and pain big time not long after eating. First the BM comes

and is normal. Shortly after that comes pain and cramping and

a " rush " to the bathroom, and that is very loose. That part is

miserable. I wonder if that is what they call the " dumping syndrome " ?

I still wish I had my gallbladder. I really didnt want the surgery.

But my gallbladder was diseased. The walls were thickened, it wasnt

contracting properly and the bile production was to low for me to

maintain a healthy gallbladder. Well I will be 57 on my birthday.

Things slow down as you age. If there are young ones here on this

group, save your gallbladder if you can. Had I known how to take

care of myself at an earlier age I could have done more.

I just want to thank you all for your prayers and encouragement. To

those who still are having problems, do what you can to make your

self knowledgeable about your gallbladder and your current

condition. I think the knowledge is key. You have to decide what you

need to do. I decided I wanted to spend some time in my remaining

years not having to worry about my gallbladder becoming cancerous or

infected with gangrene. And I was on my way to that. Hallelujah if

you arent. Take care and do what you have to do.
