Guest guest
I don't know why they found that my bladder was thickened or that I was bleeding New Years Eve. But the doctor did the scope into my bladder and said I have no cancer! I'm so relieved! I will be unsubscribing, but I wish you all the best of luck, you are in my prayers! I've learned a lot already! Patty
Guest guest
Dear Patty: It's always good to hear " no cancer " . What did the Urine Cytology actually say, or did you not have one? What did they say was the cause of the bleeding, if there was any? My reason for asking is I have a history of Bladder Cancer and it re-visited me two times after the first discovery. The second did not show up on a CT-Scan, or it was just missed, nor was it discovered via the scope but rather cells were discovered by the Urine Cytology. We waited until my next exam, three months later, and a small tumor was then visible. So much for the CT-Scan. One can have a trace of blood in the urine for almost no 'big' reason so that might 'awaken' us but shouldn't panic us. Be a detective, continue to do research and go to PubMed and check up on NAC (N-AcetylCysteine) as a supplement which is good for bladder concerns and good in general. Stay on top of the situation because it is your body, not the doctor's and at any given point, no matter the tests, eventually it all comes down to their opinion doesn't it? If you are leaving the list, good for you and we hope we never have to hear from you again...............'cause that means you are fine! Great. Joe C.
