Guest guest
I have learned that when doctors sign contracts with insurance companies to be a participating provider, that often those contracts dictate to the doctor what medical tests are permitted to be performed. In some cases, if the doctor runs too many they are required to pay for those tests. I have also met former medical professionals who left the industry because insurance companies mandated what diagnosis they were permitted to use. So between the pharmicutical industry & the insurance industry we have a real nightmare. Michele
Guest guest
I suspect you are probobly right about this. I think in many ways this country is in a mess, and an example of that would be in healthcare. Guest guest
I have tried to look through the posts for some help, but there are too many. Is there any way to sort them by subject or author???? Anyway, after two months of no symptoms, I had a painful GB attach. This was two weeks ago. Since then I have had constant discomfort, sometimes elevating to pain everyday for two weeks. I have tried the Epsom salts, the oil/lemon, eating fats & fatty foods. Nothing seems to be relieving me of the painful pressure. Any opinions as to what MIGHT be going on? Thanks for your responses. Guest guest
One of the kids in my clinic (at age 3 diagnosed with PDD, no speech and ADHD) is now no longer considered either hyperactive or autistic by the school system. The school wants to take away all of his services except speech therapy. He still has an articulation problem. I can handle that issue but my point is all this child has been on for the past two years is the protocol. Nothing else. Not even ABA. Just the protocol. Guest guest
Does anyone have an opinion on amino acid treatment and leaky gut diagnoses? Good, bad, waste of time? We have used a custom amino acid blend (prescribed based on the results of a plasma amino acid test) with great results What juices should I avoid if I am trying to avoid yeast? Pretty much everything but pear.and some people would say pear as well. Any suggestions for yeast control for a 2 year old? Probiotics page found at www.enzymestuff.com <http://www.enzymestuff.com/> . Definitely need some good probiotics and rotate them Also the digestive enzymes that many people use here (AFP Peptizyde and No Fenol in particular) will help with the yeast. My son needed amino acids and mito cocktail for him to properly digest fats http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm > What juices should I avoid if I am trying to avoid yeast? > Any suggestions for yeast control for a 2 year old? Yeast ideas http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm The big juices to avoid are apple, grape, and orange. Pears don't feed yeast as much as other juices. Cranberry and/or raspberry can be good. Best to dilute any juice at least 50% with water. Dana
