Guest guest
Read Dr. site at www.allthingsmale.com read TRT: A recipe for success and his HCG update. In this are labs and why If I were you I would start with a 200 mgs shot to jump start you and then do 100 mgs every week to start. Make sure you have your Estradiol " E2 " tested if high this can be one big problem it kills ones sex life. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html Co-Moderator Phil > From: emcs1200 <emcs1200@...> > Subject: Any Dr's in Dayton, Ohio area? Guest guest
Hi Larry, Welcome to the group. In reply to question 2, I agree with Phil- shots are probably the cheapest method of Testosterone Replacement Therapy. Now that you have begun T therapy, you've no doubt calculated the cost for yourself. You might find buying supplies (needles & syringes) online may be cheaper than buying in the store ( & you can buy in bulk without arousing pharmacist suspicion). Regarding question 3, Dr. mentions injecting HCG to counteract testicular atrophy. HCG makes the testes continue to produce testosterone despite the fact that you're also taking exogenous testosterone from Depo T. Besides the aesthetic value, this can help you use less Depo T. (Some men use HCG exclusively, but it generally doesn't elevate testosterone as high as Depo T.) In light of this info, you'd probably spend around $500 per year overall for Depo T, HCG, syringes, & needles. Assuming that you may need .5 mg Arimidex or similar aromatase inhibitor (to minimize conversion of testosterone to estrogen) every other day, you could spend another $150. (Not everyone on Depo T needs Arimidex, & dosing amounts & schedules vary.) Hopefully, your labs are covered. If not, there are online companies through which you can order labs (lef.org, privatemdlabs.com, etc.). Hope that helps. Feel free to ask more. ~Xian > > > From: emcs1200 <emcs1200@...> > > Subject: Any Dr's in Dayton, Ohio area? Guest guest
Sorry, forgot this last time. Another way you could save money would be to see if you can get a prescription for 250 mg/mL Depo T. If you get a 10 mL vial for about the same price, you get an additional 500 mg of T per bottle. ~Xian
