Guest guest
Hello all. Thursday evening my mother ended up in the emergency room and following an ultrasound, she received a diagnosis of " thickening of the gallbladder. " She is remaining in the hospital over the weekend. Her only nutrition is dripping through an IV. Monday they are planning to drop a tube down her esophagus to peek at (something?). I learned about these flushes from you folks here and have passed around 2000 stones and tons of sludge on so far eight flushes. Despite relaying my first-hand experience to her, I think I am failing to convince her to try the flushes. Her feeling is, " They know what they're doing. If they say it has to come out, it has to come out. " The docs are already making plans to cut her. The procedure will not even be performed laproscopicly <sp?> due to scar tissue from previous surgeries. Please, has anyone been successful in convincing a loved one to avoid surgery and at least attempt to flush first? Btw, NO stones appeared on ultrasound. The reason they are giving her to remove it is thickening of the walls of the gallbladder and a indication on ultrasound of dirt (sludge?). Any thoughts will be appreciated. Hi : You can only try. But oldsters accept authority without question. You first have to deprogram that deep rooted mind set of thinking. Good luck it is not easy. Walt Hello all.
