Guest guest
I've read that the following are good for stopping metastasis: 1. Modified Citrus Pectin 2. Vitamin C, Lycine, Proline and green tea extract all taken together. 3. Green tea extract alone 4. Monoclonal antibody therapy The problem with #1 is that it is relatively expensive -- about $3 - $4 a day. I guess that isn't too bad, but when you already have a big set of other supplements, it can break the camel's back. #2 outlined by Bill , and he has you taking these pills througout the day. That becomes a bit of a pain in the butt. But it is pretty cheap. I raised the question awhile back about the fact that proline and lycine are availabe in huge quantities in whey powder, and whether this is an effective source for these two amino acids. Nobody answered, so I assume that nobody really knows. But just in case... I am asking again. I read about #3 in this newsgroup. Other than that, I don't know how effective it is. Unfortunately, #4 is not allowed as a monotherapy -- you must also take chemo to take it. And it has major side effects. And it is ridiculously expensive if you don't have insurance.
