Guest guest
Hi I start Chemo this Friday for Follicular Nhl of the small intestine. Since it is not operable for me. Whipple is too dramatic of a surgery for my smaller lesions.. but they are near the Ampula all 8cm worth Up and down stream. I will be given R-CVP every 3 weeks for up to 8 treatments Is there anything one can do to prevent the erosion of the stomach lining Also I'm a bit worried about Nerve De-generation. the Dr. will be watching of course for any tingling it the hands and feet and adjust dosage accordingly I understand Anti oxidants are not recomended So I plan on taking EFA's Vitamin D and maybe colostrum and possibly an I-Cap, small amounts of Anti Oxidant's except maybe Vitamin C. I also read that on the day of infusion to get a brisk walk in 45 minutes or so and then get into a hot bath 105deg F to help distribute the Chemo throughout the vessels....
