,

This is copy of e-mail I posted about the Chinese herbs.

Someone asked me a while ago if I would let them know what herbs are in my

Chinese herb decoction. It's a secret recipe given by the doctor, but I've done

my detective work and identified a few which I've listed for you. Hope it

helps someone. Hope it comes out as a list, too. Some of my posts end up all

over the place.

Fenugreek For the kidneys

For liver, heart and spleen

Chinese foxglove For liver, heart and kidney

Seaweed Hai Zao For spleen, stomach and kidney

Honeysuckle For lung, stomach, large intestine

Huang Bi (3rd yellow) For kidney, bladder, large intestine

Corydalis For liver and spleen

Salvia For heart and liver

Paeonia For heart, liver and kidney

Black mustard seeds For stomach and lungs

Wolfberry (Lycium Barbarum) For liver and kidneys

I know there is Chinese gentian, but don't know its purpose. Also, there is

tangerine peel! There's another, too, which I put on a previous post but I

can't remember it. This prescription is obviously particular to me but may

help someone.

Have felt fit as a fiddle for a few weeks now. Downside is that conventional

doctor is not being helpful in organising another ultrasound for me to see

how the stones are doing and if they have reduced, as the Chinese doc said they

would. Have to go back in a month to see if medical doc will request this

scan. Surely, if I can sort out gallstones in a non-invasive way and save the

NHS a lot of money by not having an op to remove my gb, it is cost-effective to

let me have a scan to prove/confirm that Chinese medicine has worked. She

also says that colonic irrigation is a load of rubbish and the hospital

consultant said flushing doesn't work. Don't believe them for a minute. After

all,

they told me that I should carry on eating as normal before the op, except for

fats, and that there would be no dietry restrictions after the op and no

complications!! Doesn't make sense, does it? Needless to say, will stick to

what

I am doing.
