Rick, by far the cheapest way to go is to self inject testosterone

either once a week or once very two weeks. More expensive is skin

spread ons and patchs like Androgel and Androderm, these in fact are

very expensive because you are paying for big drug company advertising,

sales reps commissions, and big profits. Most expensive of all is

pellets, these have to bought and surgically put in your butt flesh

every couple of months. The surgical site can be a bit sore for a few

days and they recommend you periodically ice the area to keep swelling

down. Pellets release a steady stream of T with no sudden surge like

shots, therefore some argue that pellets control gyne best leave one

hassle free for months, but very very expensive, couple thousand

dollars a year or so is a very rough estimate, from my own experience

in trying pellets.

I hope you get the help you need right away

Hello Rick and welcome, I would say yes injections are cheaper, but you would

have to have someone like a nurse teach you how to inject yourself and what

needles are best. I tried injections for a few months and had a visiting nurse

covered under my insurance to treat me. I didn't like giving myself a shot every

couple of weeks. It was painful in my behind and more painful and saw in my arm.

And I was given myself too much T because reading the MM, etc confused me. Oh

and going to get needles made me feel as if I was using them for drugs,

especially by pharmacists in the beginning.

I would say if your insurance or you or a third-party can pay for the gel do so.

Its easier to put on and use overall.
