Guest guest
I'm asking about this here because I know that anosmia is sometimes connected with hypogonadism, particularly with Kallman syndrome. I do have secondary hypogonadism, but from what I have read of the description, I don't think I have Kallman syndrome. For some time my sense of smell has been getting worse and worse. For some reason this mainly seems to affect good smells. It has gotten to the point where if I smell strong perfume right next to my nose I either smell nothing or only have a vague sensation of a good smell without being able to identify it. This sometimes upsets my girlfriend when she is wearing perfume and I don't notice. For some reason I can still smell bad smells, though perhaps not as well as other people. Has anyone else here noticed a similar problem?
