Also..have you had your thyroid checked? When I needed an electric blanket

because I was so cold, it turned out that I had a slow thyroid.

I made a decision in my senior years that I would never be cold at night

again no matter what and I do spend the money to keep the heat in the low 70's

and

sleep under several blankets. I like be very warm at night.
