Guest guest
I lurk, but have really nothing to offer by my opinion. I used to spend alot of time in a friend's health food store and do alot of reading, but that was a long time ago. IMO, homeopathy can work if used properly. As Vic said, adding a remedy, of any kind, and not changing an inappropriate lifestyle, is not conducive to a long-term remedy or cure of the condition. The most important part of addressing any condition, again IMO only, is getting to the root of the condition. A good diagnostician - whether homeopath, naturopath, osteopath or M.D., is paramount. One who is not willing to stop at the obvious, but continue investigating as time goes on and the desired result is not obtained. The patient can help or hinder - not all of us are as 'self-aware' as we should be and that can certainly hinder the process. As can denial or misguided attempts to be stoic in the face of dis-ease. Much of my experience is also with dogs. A clinic in my area has the highest parvo treatment survival rate in the nation. They combine holistic and traditional medicine practices in their treatment protocol and to me, that is a wonderful thing. Unfortunately, they still promote vaccination, but, nobody's perfect! :-) Now I'll go back to lurking. Iechyd da! denise
