Guest guest
Where are you getting the stuff most men that need Testosterone are a mess it takes a lot of time and playing with the dose to get tuned up right then it takes the body a long time to undo the damage done by being low. One gets better a little at time for a long time. If you asking about men that do Anabolic Steroids your in the wrong place here we don't talk about them in regards to how to use them or how they work. Guest guest
no I'm talking about how different people are stronger and easily gain natural muscle than others, that's genetic right? ________________________________ From: philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> Sent: Tue, October 20, 2009 8:07:08 AM Subject: Re: Testosterone genetics, reaction Where are you getting the stuff most men that need Testosterone are a mess it takes a lot of time and playing with the dose to get tuned up right then it takes the body a long time to undo the damage done by being low. Guest guest
Part of the issue is genetics, which can contribute to one person actually having more muscles than another, having greater ability to develop certain muscles, or having higher amounts of hormones that lead to having a more defined or a bulkier appearance without training or in response to the same amount of training. However, certain factors that people can control can make a huge difference, including the actual volume lifted (reps, sets, and weight), lifting method, diet, recovery protocol, etc. Genetics accounts for things like relative amount of myostatin, a protein which limits on muscular development. Mutations can reduce the amount of myostatin such that animals develop massive muscularity (like the Belgian Blue Bull) or certain types of greyhounds. Regarding testosterone's involvement in this, some men don't get as much out of testosterone administration or endogenously produced testosterone due to differences in androgen receptors, different levels of enzymatic activity like 5-alpha-reductase and aromatase, etc. Also, it seems that weight-lifting/testosterone can increase the number of myonuclei and androgen receptors by extension , further increasing stimulation of muscle growth from testosterone (http://www.thinkmuscle.com/ARTICLES/haycock/androgen-receptors-02.htm). I would imagine that levels of inflammation (from injury or some chronic/underlying condition) would also minimize the effectiveness of testosterone, requiring more to exert the same anabolic/androgenic effect compared to a person with less inflammation. ~Xian > > > From: Matt <mattobrien71> > > Subject: Testosterone genetics, reaction > > > > Date: Monday, October 19, 2009, 9:58 PM > > Why is it that if you give one person > > the same amount of testosterone as another, one of them > > would respond to the hormone a lot better and become a lean > > muscular monster, and the other would just be average? > > Is that how your genetics are set? > > > > > > > > ------------ --------- --------- ------ > > > >

Guest guest
Its called people that are hard gainers usually are very undermethylated which have a greater inability to break down toxins which can accumulate from exercise (lactic acid, nutrient metabolism, ect). Genetically people have different ability to have utilize testosterone. I have seen people with T levels at 350 and they are monsters never using steroids. There body uses T so efficient it is scarey. Some body builders use myostatin inhibitors which can cause muscle to grow past genetic potetial. These combined with GH,igf-1, are the way bb are getting huge pushing the genetic envelope. Sprinters will be leaner and more musculat vs long distance runner s are long an lanky. The best genetics is to have combination of both. > > > > > > > From: Matt <mattobrien71> > > > > Subject: Testosterone genetics, reaction > > > > > > > > Date: Monday, October 19, 2009, 9:58 PM > > > > Why is it that if you give one person > > > > the same amount of testosterone as another, one of them > > > > would respond to the hormone a lot better and become a lean > > > > muscular monster, and the other would just be average? > > > > Is that how your genetics are set? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------ --------- --------- ------ > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
The reason I'm so confused with this is because before my hypogonadism I was a very strong 15 year old, on the board for lifting in the school gym, state wrestler, and with the low T it's like I'm half of what I used to be. ________________________________ From: hardasnails1973 <hardasnails1973@...> Sent: Wed, October 21, 2009 7:21:28 AM Subject: Re: Testosterone genetics, reaction Its called people that are hard gainers usually are very undermethylated which have a greater inability to break down toxins which can accumulate from exercise (lactic acid, nutrient metabolism, ect). Guest guest
Yes but you also abused your body probably for a long time. There was a study done on athletes that were foot ball players and found that during their season there were many nutrient deficiency that were found as well as testosterone levels 30-40% below baseline reading. Do remeember these guys where not dieting and added undue stress to their bodies as wrestlers do. The minerals that are deficiency are also minerals that activate hormone receptors and also pituitary function. Iodine deficiency runs rampant in your are so I would check that out ASAP > > > > > > > > > From: Matt <mattobrien71> > > > > > Subject: Testosterone genetics, reaction > > > > > > > > > > Date: Monday, October 19, 2009, 9:58 PM > > > > > Why is it that if you give one person > > > > > the same amount of testosterone as another, one of them > > > > > would respond to the hormone a lot better and become a lean > > > > > muscular monster, and the other would just be average? > > > > > Is that how your genetics are set? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------ --------- --------- ------ > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
If I remember right there are 3 types of male body groups one is wire these men can't put on muscle and look thin but are dam strong. Then second group are what I call avg. the can put on muscle and build up more then the 3rd. group like my self look like weight lifters and are strong without working out when they do they get very big. Guest guest
Matt I sent you a PM at the MESO forum I seen my Dr. yesterday and when I was done I asked him about you and if he felt he knew what was wrong with you. I was shocked that he said to have you send him in the mail a copy of all your labs and how your feeling and what you feel you did before this happened. So it looks to me that he will tell you what he thinks free. Guest guest
Phil, I tend toward the ectomorph frame. I think what did me in with the low T and the adrenal problems was the low rep work I was doing. I was doing a workout called rippetoes 5x5. Too much work with not enough recovery. I was getting strong and putting on muscle, then about 2 yrs. ago it all stopped. Now I know the importance of recovery. Plus I will be cycling the reps from low to high. Don't get me wrong, I'm by no means massive or anything. I just enjoyed lifting weights and saw progress. I've been off the last 2 months. Bitter medicine to swallow, but needed. > > > > > From: Matt <mattobrien71> > > > Subject: Testosterone genetics, > > reaction > > > > > > Date: Monday, October 19, 2009, 9:58 PM > > > Why is it that if you give one person > > > the same amount of testosterone as another, one of > > them > > > would respond to the hormone a lot better and become a > > lean > > > muscular monster, and the other would just be > > average? > > > Is that how your genetics are set? > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------ --------- --------- ------ > > > > > >

Guest guest
Jim this happens all the time I read this everyday at forums and so does Hardasnails. I just got back from the Gym and today I upped my load and have a good pump on my muscles the Hot Shower felt dam good but I am still not recovered and I have been home 2 hrs. If you don't let your body recover you tear it down and over work your adrenals, Thyroid and Testosterone levels with them goes your Growth Hormones this is the first one to take a hit. Because your body is mixing all your hormones up trying to fix the problem. And most of the time this makes it worse. Guest guest
ACtually i am working on this answer and I may have found why we are so sick it lies actually in writings that have been around 2000 years. I am also working on new research that may open new doors to cancer and many other degenerative disorders. I just have to test my hypothesis out and if it corresponds it will revolutionize cancer prevention. Every notice that as autism goes up so does cancer I believe I have the mechanism by how this is explained. > > > > > > > > > > > From: Matt <mattobrien71@ > > > > > > > > > Subject: Testosterone > > > genetics, > > > > > reaction > > > > > > > > > > > > Date: Monday, October 19, 2009, 9:58 > > PM > > > > > > Why is it that if you give one person > > > > > > the same amount of testosterone as > > another, > > > one of > > > > > them > > > > > > would respond to the hormone a lot > > better > > > and become a > > > > > lean > > > > > > muscular monster, and the other would > > just > > > be > > > > > average? > > > > > > Is that how your genetics are set? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------ --------- --------- > > ------ > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Phil, I talked to my endo today. I also am getting a second opinion from hardasnails. the endo mentioned that BOTH my total and free test were low and she mentioned that next I'll need a MRI for my pitutitary gland to see if there a tumor hampering testerone production. Once shes done with the MRI, chances are that I'll need androgrl. How is this different than using prohormones? Im giving my body testerone. Im shutting down the natural production (its already pretty much shut down) and going to take a supplement for the rest of my life for testerone. If this jacks up my levels, both free and total to the higher end near 1000, where I should be, won't I experience easier time in many things.. attitute change, increased sexual desire, increased ability to build muscle easier at the gym, concentration, bone density and better sleep? have youheard of anyone on androgel, if I go that route, that got the treatment and all of a sudden became a horndog and was an animal in the gym among other positive life factors?? Just wondering. Thank you Phil ________________________________ From: philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> Sent: Wed, October 21, 2009 4:10:04 PM Subject: Re: Testosterone genetics, reaction Jim this happens all the time I read this everyday at forums and so does Hardasnails. Guest guest
is the 2d 4d testosterone ratio reliable? Many studies on this have proved true. It would seem to be true looking at guys around me and their athletic ability ________________________________ From: jim <virtuosa150@...> Sent: Wed, October 21, 2009 8:34:05 PM Subject: Re: Testosterone genetics, reaction No, just the big mac diet and a soft lifestyle.
