Guest guest
I am a type II diabetic and am going to a new endocrinologist at the end of September. I understand testosterone helps lower insulin resistance by allowing the muscles to absorb more glucose. I would appreciate hearing from other men who are also diabetic about the following: 1. Were you diabetic before you started using testosterone? 2. Do you remember your fasting blood sugar readings before testosterone (one-touch meter reading)? 3. How much testosterone do you take now? 4. How long have you been taking testosterone? 5. What are your fasting blood sugar readings recently 6. If you have lost weight, how much since starting testosterone? 6. Optionally, how frequently are you exercising and your age? I am trying to find out whether strength conditioning combined with testosterone at an " advanced " age of 61 is likely to stave off having to do insulin. Thanks for sharing your information. I'll try to set this up as a poll, if I can figure out how to do so. Bob
