RE: Statin Drug question.

I have asked 3 doctors about Statins, testosterone, and TRT.

They are clueless.

Five months after starting a statin drug is when I experienced

andropause (didn't know what hit me).

Three months later, at a regular physical, I explained recent

symptoms, Dr. ran T test on me, and bingo, Low T.

At first Testim seemed to work wonders, but is now diminishing.

Recent lab work indicates even though I am on one tube of Testim, my

T level is clinically low again.

I am tempted to stop the statin drug to see if any noticeable

improvement occurs, but am hesitant to self-prescribe. Maybe if I

just wean my self off the statin over a month, then go without it for

a month that won't hurt.
