Being that gluten's often a problem for lymphoma patients, I would avoid these 3 grains but would still eat brown & wild rice and barley. >anemic I I was anemic and had cancer, I'd 1st determine if it was due to an iron deficiency. If I in fact have IRON-deficient anemia (or needed iron for another reason), I'd take iron in the form of organic liver, seaweed (spirulina, chlorella, kelp, dulse) & other leafy greens, almonds, flax, herbs (e.g., beet root, dandelion--I would take these herbs even if I didn't have an iron deficiency), or blackstrap molasses—“Blackstrap. There is no worry there about sugars. It's been used historically for tumors. The operant factor there may be vitamin k, in which it is high…Blackstrap is also a relatively safe way to address anemia in cancer patients†Mike Golden, D.C., 2/16/09; I heard to take 2 tbsp/day; don’t take at same time (of day) as IP6 (Golden, 3/09); “the cheapest source…for one of the best differentiation agents--D-saccharic acid--is molasses†Gammill, 2/09 I think the following are good herbal iron products: www.healthyhealing.com/product.esiml?PID=786 Every Woman's Iron Support by www.NewChapter.com/ (very expensive) >wheatgress juice excellent! >I fed hubby the grassfed beef liver is probably the best meat for someone w/lymphoma >high Vit C IV is extremely effective w/lymphoma BioImmune.com practitioners (around the country) offer an excellent IV vit.
