Guest guest
Info I'm finding seems to day that the creams/gels are more helpful for ED cases and cause fewer E2 issues, but aren't likely to be enough for someone who's level isn't even close to normal. Injections don't give as smooth a level so I'm wondering if you could use a cream of gel to even things out the last 2 days before the injection and at the same time get an added help for ED? Guest guest
Never heard about creams/gels being better than injections for ED issues - probably too much of a generalisation for the purposes of drawing conclusions in order to direct yourself towards a particular treatment. However, gels/creams are known to cause less estradiol issues due to their more gradual absorption and pharmacoligical profiles compared to spike seen with injections (aromatase inhibitor can negate this effect). However, just to be clear on one thing when you say gels/creams " aren't likely to be enough for someone who's level isn't even close to normal " - exogeneous testosterone shuts down your bodies own testosterone production so the fact someone is boderline/low T to start with is irrelevant! Some people do struggle to get enough T from gels/creams though but I bet a fair percentage of this is due to doctors/endo's only prescribing 5g of gel when in actual fact should be 7.5-10g after few weeks. Also absorption will depend on factors like how much fat a person has at application site, pH of skin etc and must be applied to part of body with no hair for maximum absorption rates. Also best avoiding applying to abdomen or chest if estradiol is an issue and applying to scrotum with give high DHT which is also best avoided in the medium-long term. > > > > Info I'm finding seems to day that the creams/gels are more helpful > for ED cases and cause fewer E2 issues, but aren't likely to be enough > for someone who's level isn't even close to normal. You would think so, but the opposite is true. Creams/Gels typically have more estradiol problems than injections. The enzyme aromatase is mostly responsible for this the conversion of T to E2. Review the posts over the past year of people on this group switched to injections because of the E2 problem. -- Steve - dudescholar4@...
