Guest guest
About 3 months after the surgery, I ended up with colitis. Is anyone else going through this? I have more problems now then before the GB surgery! Pearl, It just sounds like you have a stone in a duct somewhere. Do you have any more doctors you can go to at least to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion? It's very good for your intestines. I had started it after I had all that diarrhea before I went into the hospital. When you get a chance, research it and see what you turn up. Also, Dr. Cabot has some good stuff called Fibertone. I tried it once. It helps you have healthy bowel movements. Susie
Guest guest
I had lots of problems with my innards earlier this year. There was grumbling, all kinds of noises, everything I could think of and some I didn't, and it hurt 24/7. None of my doctors offered anything in the way of a solution. I just had to put up with it. There was no gas of any kind, no bm problems, nothing I could put my finger on. Then I had a revelation. I was prescribed 40 mg of Prilosec per day. I had been taking the OTC, 1/2 pill per day and it worked fine. Then it was increased to an amount I couldn't handle. I went back to my low dose and things went back to normal. Still no 'official' word about it. Dennis in eastexas On Wed, Jun 17, 2009 at 8:28 PM, ~Kami~ <kamilleon@...> wrote: > > > So I went to my PCP about my ongoing stomach issues. Guest guest
Funny you should mention Prilosec..... I was also on 40 mg until yesterday when he cut me back to 20mg. He also took away my Celebrex for a week. I hope I am going to be able to walk into his office next week for a recheck!!!!!!! *~ Kami ~* Re: [ ] Colitis I had lots of problems with my innards earlier this year.
