Guest guest
I'm really kind of surprised. To my knowledge, oral androgens are not available in the US. Canada, maybe? But I was always told there were restrictions on oral androgens in the US. jimevans_2000 <jimevans_2000@...> wrote: I recently got some Testosterone Troches, but I'm unsure how to use them. They're supposed to be a short-term boost for the libido - you let one dissolve under your tongue which gets it right into the bloodstream, bypassing the liver, but it has a short half-life. Am I supposed to use this sorta like Viagra? Anyone have experience with them? They're NOT for daily use nor to raise T levels like shots or the patch does. Here's what I was told: 1. Some of you, depending on particular lifestyle and schedule, apply your T gel after you work out. That means T levels are very low the next morning while trying to train. A little quick boost before leaving for the gym might really help. 2. The second situation involves those who are well tuned up hormonally, yet still have not found the improvement in libido they seek. For them, taking a sublingual androgen can really do the trick. Some general information: The T troches are placed under the tongue, and allowed to slowly dissolve. They do so in about ten minutes. That is about the time some men will notice their voices lowering. The troches come in a cherry flavor, and actually taste pretty good. No one will be using them as sole TRT. The testosterone they deliver does not last long enough in the bloodstream for them to be effective in that capacity. They are not methylated, as oral steroids are, and so will not hurt the liver. However, they can make estrogen shoot up along with testosterone, and can be highly suppressive. If you are worried about fertility issues, this may be important to keep in mind. --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage. Guest guest
Technically this isn't an oral androgen - those are too hard on the liver. This is a sublingual androgen. Maybe that's why they're available. Jim I recently got some Testosterone Troches, but I'm unsure how to use > them. Guest guest
So it's the absorption under the tongue that makes it unique, not in the digestive tract. I have never heard of them before. Any consensus as how effective they are? appreciative dAVId <dhallgar@...> wrote: Wahoo, I think these trouches would be excellant for me, if I should encounter something warm and she wanted to take me home with her. Guest guest
So far I haven't heard from anyone who's actually used them. I can't say how effective they'd be for anything, including libido. I have only tried it once so far and didn't notice anything at all, unlike, say, cialis or levitra. I was really hoping that someone with experience with them - positive or negative - would respond or send me email. After a few more trials I'll report my experiences.
