Guest guest
Injection 1- Dr's office 22g 1.5 inches read site and saw lots of people are using insulin needles and have access to a few hundred of those free, and Dr said blood works I'm pre-diabetic so I figure I may as well learn to use them injection 2 - 28g, 1/2 in needle in thigh injection 3 - 28g, 1/2in injected into stomach with pinch of skin held to be sure of sub Q (Strongly suspect high e2 issues to hot flashes, ed, and irritability) I am on warfarin so bruise very easily and while I don't see bruising maybe it's internal? I, too, do it after my shower so as many things as possible are clean and use the alcohol on both skin and vial. (For my INR monitor which is just a finger prick they say a good hand washing and you don't have to use the alcohol.) The pain is not with the injection, though a few minutes after it burns, it's the second, third and forth day. So since I'm feeling no benefits it certainly doesn't leave me looking forward to day 7 and injecting again. Someone suggested that I inject slower to see if that helps? It doesn't go any too fast with that small needle as it is but I'll certainly try slower this week. Thanks for the advice and website, Larry hurt for a couple of days. > > Hi, > > what size needle and where are you sticking? > > I use a 25g*1 and go into the thigh. >
