Guest guest
My dad was just put on HRT, he's 82. They have him injecting Delatestryl (testosterone enanthate). They gave him an initial shot of 200mg then its 100mg every 2 weeks. I'm wondering if that is a typical dosage? He noticed a difference about 2 days after the inital shot of 200mg, then by about day 10 he was feeling fatigue again. The day after his 100mg shot (yesterday) he was still not feeling any better, maybe today will be different? That means he has to feel bad for 5 or 6 days from the time it wears off to the time it kicks in. Since I've only used androgel, I'm not too familiar with the dosage for injections. I was reading the " Guidelines for Testosterone Therapy " pdf in the files section and it says the regimen is usually 100mg every week or 200mg every 2 weeks. I'm wondering if he would do better injecting every 10 days at a little higher dosage? Any advice? -Dan
