Guest guest
From what I know about this you can't test progesterone levels in a saliva test they are not actuate for testing sex hormones so if you need to know what your levels are do a blood test. But you can raise this hormone but don't do this doing progesterone cream it can cause feminization. You can take pregnenolone supplements or cream to bring them up is blood labs show them to be low. I have been on TRT and do Test shots and HCG shots so I need to check my pregnenolone levels and labs for men testing this are always low so we check progesterone if it's high we know the Pregnenolone will be high HCG drives this up. My labs on TRT never come back to low or to high on progesterone. Guest guest
How important is progesterone? I have never been tested for it either. What does it do?
Guest guest
It I feel is not a problem in men as long as your in range. Here is a cut and paste on what Dr. says about it. ========================================= There is not one valid study that proves men should take PROG. And many which prove he should not. Simple, irrefutable facts: PROG elevates SHBG Suppresses the HPTA Causes gynocomastia Causes impotence ....all feminizing features of a hormone. __________________ www.AllThingsMale.com Co-Moderator Phil > From: Stephan Pochet <spochet@...> > Subject: Re: TRT suppression of testicular progesterone production > > Date: Sunday, November 9, 2008, 12:11 PM > How important is progesterone?
