Can gallstones effect blood sugar?

Very strange, when I passed a stone last winter. I found I no longer needed

over half of my blood sugar medicine for my type 2 diabetes. My blood sugar was

almost normal.

___

Now 6 months later, I find I need the diabetes pills again. I guess this is

a sign that another stone is causing trouble.

How can gallstones effect blood sugar levels?
